to remove sticky labels from jars:

  • in a large bowl, add hot water, 1 cup of vinegar, and dish soap

  • allow jars to sit for at least 20 minutes

  • use a scrub brush to remove sticky labels

  • *repeat the process as needed

to remove wax from jars:

  • bring a pot of water almost to a boil

  • when hot enough, pour water into candle containers, enough to cover the remaining wax at the bottom

  • allow to cool - wax should float to the top

  • dump into the trash

  • wipe jar clean

  • *repeat as needed
